Melvin is a standard "Fleet of Fog"'s destroyer from the American fleet. She is based on the the WWII Fletcher-class destroyer DD680 Melvin.
DD680 Melvin[]
Melvin is the "Fleet of Fog" reincarnation of the WWII Fletcher-class destroyer Melvin. While this vessel is still far more powerful than any conventional human ships, it is rather under-powered when compared to the higher-ranked "Fleet of Fog" vessels.
DD680 Melvin is armed with a number of Photon Cannons, missile launchers and torpedo tubes. She does have a Wave-Force armor, but it isn't a very powerful one and can be brought to crippling levels even with conventional weapons. Unlike Nagara-class light cruisers, DD680 Melvin was shown to be able to submerge.
Being a mere destroyer, DD680 Melvin doesn't have a Mental Model.
